If the majority of America became vegetarian

America is fat, we've all heard this before. We talk about it, but nothing is being done about it. Places like McDonalds with they're big mac's, and super sizing methods, don't seem to care about health. But what if they made more of they're meals vegetarian? Meat has a lot to do with fat. All of the grease, and the way its cooked plays a big part in it too. But if we replaced hamburger patties with veggie patties? They would take the majority of the calories served right off. America would be healthier.

It's so easy to just go through a drive-thru and get something to eat real fast. But Vegetarians don't have that option. The only places vegetarians can go to are taco bueno for the "black bean" burrito, or subway for the "veggie delight." Very limited choices. Making more vegetarian options on menus would be easier for everyone. Especially those who are on a diet. Remember "You are what you eat (McKeith)."

If all of North American became vegetarian "The US would save enough water to supply 6 states- Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine รข€“ with enough water to last 4 months (Doctor Solve)!!"

"Not only would we save water, but 1.5 BILLION pounds of crops, 70 million gallons of gas (which by the way would fuel all the cars in both Canada and Mexico), 3 million acres of land, 33 tonnes of antibiotics, and $70 million in economic damages(Doctor Solve)."

"225 million tonnes of soy is produced every year to feed the animals that we breed, so if we stopped eating meat, there would be enough food & grain saved to feed 1.5 billion starving people with 3 pounds of food a day (Doctor Solve)."

So many great things could happen if we all just stopped eating bad. It's hard I know. But think about it. Make the change, try it out for a week.
